Do you accept insurance?
At this time, Core Meridian does not accept insurance. We operate as a cash-based practice, meaning all services are paid directly at the time of your visit.
While we understand the appeal of using insurance, we've found that traditional coverage often limits treatment options, shortens visit time, and prioritizes coding over care. By remaining independent of insurance networks, we’re able to focus entirely on delivering personalized, comprehensive treatments without compromise.
Why don’t you take insurance if other clinics do?
Our goal at Core Meridian is to offer deep, integrative, results-oriented care—not just quick symptom relief. Insurance typically reimburses for very short, formulaic acupuncture visits. In contrast, our sessions are longer, more in-depth, and often include customized herbal, nutritional, or lifestyle strategies tailored to you.
This model allows us to focus on outcomes, not billing codes, and gives you the flexibility to invest in your health in a meaningful, lasting way.
How do I pay for services?
We accept cash, credit/debit cards, and HSA/FSA cards for all services. Payment is due at the time of service. Some packages and wellness plans may be prepaid for added savings and convenience.
Can I use my HSA or FSA card?
Yes! Acupuncture is a qualified medical expense under most Health Savings Accounts (HSA) and Flexible Spending Accounts (FSA). Be sure to check with your benefits provider to confirm your eligibility.

What should I expect at my first visit?
Your first appointment includes a detailed consultation, pulse and tongue diagnosis, and your initial acupuncture treatment. We'll also discuss your wellness goals, any relevant lab or health history, and whether herbal or supplement support is appropriate.
You’ll leave with a clear roadmap for care, and often begin noticing shifts in energy, sleep, mood, or pain patterns within just a few sessions.
How often will I need treatment?
That depends on your condition, goals, and how your body responds. In most cases, we recommend starting with 1–2 visits per week for the first 3–4 weeks to build momentum. After that, we’ll reassess and adjust frequency.
For chronic conditions or long-standing imbalances, longer treatment timelines may be appropriate. Wellness maintenance plans are also available once your symptoms stabilize.
How do I book an appointment?

Can I get support between visits?
Yes. We’re available for brief check-ins via email and phone call if you have questions about your treatment, supplements, or symptoms. More in-depth virtual consultations can also be booked as needed.
Do you offer virtual consultations?
Yes, we offer virtual sessions for wellness planning, supplement guidance, functional lab reviews, and ongoing support between acupuncture visits. While acupuncture requires in-person care, many of our other services are available remotely.
Can I order supplements online?
Yes. All products in your treatment plan or from our wellness stacks can be purchased through our online shop and shipped directly to your home. We only stock clinician-grade supplements sourced for quality, purity, and clinical efficacy.
Do you ship supplements outside California?
Yes! We currently ship supplements anywhere within the United States. Shipping rates and times will be shown at checkout.
