Do you accept insurance?

Yes — Core Meridian now accepts select insurance plans. Because coverage for acupuncture can vary greatly between providers and policies, we verify benefits on a case-by-case basis. If you’d like to know if your plan covers our services, please send us a message through the Contact Us section with your insurance details, and we’ll check your eligibility for you.

If your insurance is out-of-network or not directly billed by our clinic, we can provide you with a superbill upon request. A superbill is a detailed invoice you can submit to your insurance company for potential reimbursement, depending on your plan’s out-of-network benefits.

Why don’t you take all insurance plans?

Our priority at Core Meridian is to deliver in-depth, results-oriented care — not just quick symptom relief. Many insurance plans reimburse only for short, formulaic acupuncture visits and may not cover the integrative elements we include, such as customized herbal medicine, nutritional guidance, or lifestyle strategies.

By accepting select plans, verifying coverage in advance, and offering superbills for others, we can help you maximize your insurance benefits while preserving the flexibility to design the most effective, tailored treatment plan for your needs.

How do I pay for services?

We accept cash, credit/debit cards, and HSA/FSA cards for all services. Payment is due at the time of service. Some packages and wellness plans may be prepaid for added savings and convenience.

Can I use my HSA or FSA card?

Yes! Acupuncture is a qualified medical expense under most Health Savings Accounts (HSA) and Flexible Spending Accounts (FSA). Be sure to check with your benefits provider to confirm your eligibility.

What should I expect at my first visit?

Your first appointment includes a detailed consultation, pulse and tongue diagnosis, and your initial acupuncture treatment. We'll also discuss your wellness goals, any relevant lab or health history, and whether herbal or supplement support is appropriate.

You’ll leave with a clear roadmap for care, and often begin noticing shifts in energy, sleep, mood, or pain patterns within just a few sessions.

How often will I need treatment?

That depends on your condition, goals, and how your body responds. In most cases, we recommend starting with 1–2 visits per week for the first 3–4 weeks to build momentum. After that, we’ll reassess and adjust frequency.

For chronic conditions or long-standing imbalances, longer treatment timelines may be appropriate. Wellness maintenance plans are also available once your symptoms stabilize.

How do I book an appointment?

Can I get support between visits?

Yes. We’re available for brief check-ins via email and phone call if you have questions about your treatment, supplements, or symptoms. More in-depth virtual consultations can also be booked as needed.

Do you offer virtual consultations?

Yes, we offer virtual sessions for wellness planning, supplement guidance, functional lab reviews, and ongoing support between acupuncture visits. While acupuncture requires in-person care, many of our other services are available remotely.

Can I order supplements online?

Yes. All products can be purchased through our online dispensary that is managed by Designs For Health.
